My Journey as a Cycling Content Creator and Digital Creative
With this blog post, I want to introduce myself and share my story — my passions, my background, and my journey as a cycling content creator, photographer, and digital creative.
Sport has always been a fundamental part of my life and has shaped who I am today, both personally and professionally.
A Life Shaped by Sport
I’ve been active for as long as I can remember. From the age of three, movement and sport were already central in my life. I started swimming and became a competitive athlete at eight. At nine, simply by following a friend, I discovered artistic gymnastics and quickly transitioned into competition.
Gymnastics taught me discipline, resilience, and body awareness. My favorite discipline was floor exercise — the feeling of flying, spinning, and pushing my physical limits was something I deeply loved.
At 17, I stepped away from competitive gymnastics but continued practicing other disciplines, including dance.

Discovering Cycling and Outdoor Freedom
At 24, cycling entered my life — and everything changed. At first, I resisted the idea of mountain biking, but the very next day I found myself riding trails on the Asiago Plateau. From that moment on, cycling became a constant.
In 2008, while living between Val di Fassa and Australia, I temporarily shifted my focus to snowboarding, chasing winters across hemispheres and experiencing nine winters in just four years.
Still, my connection with cycling never faded. Riding makes me feel free, grounded, and deeply connected to nature.

From Travel to Digital Storytelling
Between 2008 and 2012, my life transformed completely. I left a stable job in my family business to embrace a life of travel, living across Australia, Southeast Asia, and India. These experiences deeply influenced my worldview, creativity, and curiosity.
Returning to Italy in 2013 was challenging. I felt disoriented, but cycling helped me reconnect with myself. At the same time, my passion for photography, graphic design, and storytelling resurfaced.
By combining these skills, I began participating in photography contests within the cycling world. In 2014, I was invited to start writing for bicilive.it, one of the first Italian platforms focused on women’s cycling.
That year marked the beginning of my professional journey as a cycling content creator.
Women, Cycling and Visibility
In 2014, women’s cycling was still largely underserved. Products, media representation, and dedicated content were limited. I personally experienced this gap — from being told certain bikes were “too much” for me to struggling to find women’s cycling gear in standard sizes.
Instead of accepting this reality, I chose to tell a different story.
I started testing bikes, racing across disciplines (24h MTB, singlespeed cyclocross, MTB enduro), and collaborating with international cycling brands. Over time, my visibility grew, and so did the opportunities.

Professional Growth in the Cycling Industry
Through photography and content creation, I worked as a photographer at the Internazionali d’Italia MTB, attended World Cup events worldwide, and covered major cycling fairs and races.
Between 2015 and 2016, I co-founded the Ride Like a Girl Project, one of the first Italian cycling communities dedicated to women. What began as an online project quickly evolved into real-life rides, events, and collaborations with cycling destinations such as Val di Fassa.
The project aimed to show what women cyclists truly are: strong, skilled, and passionate athletes.
From Cycling Creator to Digital Professional
Alongside my work in cycling, I gained experience as:
• Press office for Polartec Italy
• Content creator for Gazzetta Active
• Sport Marketing Manager for Julbo Italy
Looking back, it’s impressive how much has happened in just ten years — including a global pandemic. It took dedication, sacrifice, and countless solo road trips to merge all my passions into a sustainable freelance career.
My personal motto is “Connect to connect” — a philosophy rooted in human relationships, trust, and shared experiences.
Who I Am Today
Today, I work as a cycling content creator, freelance digital manager, photographer, and occasional model.
I create content for my own platforms and for clients in:
• Outdoor and cycling brands
• Bike tourism and destinations
• Events and hospitality
I believe in the power of authentic storytelling. I carefully select collaborations aligned with my values: authenticity, sustainability, and adventure. Transparency and coherence are essential in my work — toward both brands and my community.
